Association for the Support of Students in Need at the h_da e.V.

At the university, there is the small Association for the support of students in need at the Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences e.V.

The non-profit association has set itself the goal of providing students in precarious situations with land under their feet again. After an application has been submitted, for example the outstanding rent costs are covered, the health insurance contribution is transferred and in acute situations vouchers for the next purchase are provided.

In addition, there is cooperation with the Caritasverband Darmstadt e.V. for quick access to their range of counseling services - whether in Dieburg, Heppenheim or Darmstadt. These are, for example, debt counseling, general life counseling, addiction counseling or pregnancy counseling.
