Uhr Working in Germany – Information for international Students*

In particular international students want or must work besides their studies in Germany: both for a financial basis and for practical experiences to find a job after graduating. There is a lot to consider. This lecture is given in English language. The slides are available in English as well and we can help translating your questions and the answers.

  • Who is allowed to work?
  • How long are international students allowed to work?
  • What about an internship? • Social security contributions and taxes
  • Employment law
  • Whom to contact with issues?

This lecture is address to Non-EU students, which obtain a residence permit for the purpose of study ("Aufenthaltserlaubnis nach § 16 AufenthG zum Zwecke des Studiums").
